Yeshua continues to warn against us changing the law

(instructions) of Yehovah…

Matthew 5:17-19: Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 7:21-23:  “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.”

If God is the same yesterday, today and forever, and if his word stands forever then why would he send his son to perfectly adhere to his word (commands), tell everyone to follow his example but then do away with his word (commands) after the resurrection?

Why would God expel and divorce Israel in Jeremiah 3:8 for not following Torah (commands, or instructions) if he was going to abolish Torah? Why would Jesus perfectly follow the law, and teach not to abolish his father’s commands, but then do away with them when he died?

Why would all the disciples and apostles follow Torah and God’s feasts after the resurrection, and even fight against being falsely accused of not following Torah if it was done away with?

Jesus NEVER said he abolished the law, he said the opposite. Teachings that declare the commandments abolished are false teachings.

Amos 3:7 “Adonai God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.”

If God was going to abolish his instructions (commandments or the law), he would have told us through the prophets. The prophets and even Yeshua (Jesus) said that the law will not pass away until heaven and earth pass away. Since heaven and earth are still here, the law is still in play.

We are still expected to follow the Torah instructions as a guide for living until he returns. Not for salvation but as proof of our love for him. Following Torah is also a means to show our covenant with him, Shabbat (Sabbath) is one of those signs so others will know we belong to Him.
